Privacy policy
Last updated: 2026-07-11
Circadian Group LLC ("we", "us", "Solas") operates this marketing site (solasmoms.com) and the Solas iOS application. This policy describes what we collect, why, who we share it with, and how to delete it. Questions: info@circadiangroupllc.com.
The Solas iOS app
Account and identity
- Email address. Used to create and sign in to your account. You can sign in with an email and password or with Sign in with Apple.
- User and device identifiers. A user ID and a device identifier are used to associate your data with your account and to sync across reinstalls.
This data is linked to your identity.
Health and wearable data
- Apple Health (HealthKit). With your explicit permission, we read sleep, heart-rate, and related metrics. Health data is processed on-device where possible and is encrypted in transit otherwise.
- Oura and WHOOP. Optional connections you authorize via OAuth. Access tokens are stored encrypted, and you can revoke any source from the app's Settings screen.
We never use your health data for advertising, never sell it, and never use it to train AI models.
Pregnancy and postpartum information
During onboarding you provide your pregnancy stage, due date, and — after birth — your baby's birth date, so recommendations match your stage. Apple classifies pregnancy and childbirth information as sensitive; it is stored against your account and used only to personalize the app.
Content you create
Your nightly check-in responses, gratitude entries, Sleep Plan inputs, newborn-strategy answers, and any posts you make in the in-app community. Community posts are visible to other members of your group; everything else is private to your account.
Subscriptions and purchases
Your subscription status and purchase history are processed through Apple and RevenueCat to manage your Solas Premium subscription and free trial. Payment is handled by Apple — we do not receive or store your payment-card details.
Usage analytics
We record pseudonymous product-interaction events (for example, which features you open) through Mixpanel to understand and improve the product. We do not use a third-party crash-reporting SDK.
Advertising measurement
If you allow tracking when we ask (Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt), Solas uses Meta's advertising SDK to measure whether a Facebook or Instagram ad led you to install Solas and start a subscription. For this we collect your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) and basic device and app information, and — through RevenueCat — share your subscription milestones (free-trial start and subscription purchase) with Meta Platforms so we can measure and improve our ads.
If you decline tracking, we do not use your IDFA. We may still report these subscription milestones to Meta in an aggregated form that isn't tied to your advertising identifier. You can change your choice anytime in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
We never share your health, sleep, wearable, check-in, pregnancy, or community data with Meta or any advertiser. Advertising measurement is limited to app install and subscription events only.
Diagnostics
Aggregate crash and performance diagnostics may be shared with us through Apple's standard app analytics, only if you consent to share with developers on your device. These are not linked to your identity.
The marketing site (solasmoms.com)
When you join the waitlist on this site, we collect your email address, an optional coarse wearable type (such as "Oura" or "Apple Watch"), and your browser user-agent string for spam mitigation. We use Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights for anonymous, aggregated site metrics; these set no cookies and collect no personal data.
Our /start advertising page also loads the Meta Pixel so we can measure how ads we run on Meta platforms (Facebook and Instagram) perform and show them to people who may benefit from Solas. The pixel loads only on /start. It records that the page was viewed and whether you tapped the "Download on the App Store" link; Meta may set cookies for ad measurement and attribution. We do not send Meta your email, health, or pregnancy data, and we do not use session-replay tools. You can limit this in your Facebook/Instagram Ad preferences, and most browsers let you block third-party cookies.
How we use your data
We use your data to provide and personalize the app, manage your subscription, understand and improve how Solas is used, and communicate with you. For advertising measurement we use the Meta Pixel on our /start page (web) and Meta's advertising SDK with Conversions API in the app (see "Advertising measurement" above), limited to page views, ad clicks, app installs, and subscription events. We never use your health, sleep, wearable, check-in, pregnancy, or community data for advertising or to track you across other companies' apps or websites.
What we never do
- We never sell health or personal data.
- We never share your email with advertisers.
- We never use your health data to train AI models.
- We never use your health, sleep, wearable, check-in, pregnancy, or community data for advertising or cross-app tracking. Our advertising measurement (the /start Meta Pixel and the in-app Meta SDK) covers only ad clicks, app installs, and subscription events.
Service providers
We share data only with processors that help us operate Solas, under contract:
- Supabase — database and authentication hosting (US region).
- Apple — payments, Sign in with Apple, and app analytics.
- RevenueCat — subscription management.
- Mixpanel — product analytics.
- Vercel — marketing-site hosting and analytics.
- Meta Platforms (Facebook / Instagram) — advertising measurement and delivery, via the Meta Pixel on our /start page (web) and Meta's advertising SDK plus Conversions API (app install and subscription events) in the iOS app.
- Oura, WHOOP — only the wearable connections you choose to authorize.
Retention and deletion
You can delete your account at any time in the app: Profile → Delete Account. This removes your account and its associated data from our systems. For Sign in with Apple users, the app also directs you to revoke the Apple grant in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Sign in with Apple → Solas. You can also email info@circadiangroupllc.com with the subject "Delete my data" and the email associated with your record, and we will confirm and process the deletion within a reasonable period.
Data location
Account and app data are stored on Supabase (US region). Some service providers listed above may process data in the United States.
Children
Solas is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
We will update this page when our practices change and note the revision date at the top.
